Welcoming Week 2022
As part of Welcoming Week, Neighborhood Improvement Services is inviting residents of Durham to build community one piece at a time! Each resident will receive a blank puzzle piece which they will use as a blank canvas to share something they love about their community; be it their neighborhood, their family, or the place or activity that makes them feel most at home. Later, this “community puzzle” will be on display in Golden Belt for residents to be reminded that in of the interconnectedness of our diverse communities. There will also be a “welcoming photobooth” with props in a variety of languages spoken in the Bull City. Come be part of this unique community building event. All events below are welcome to all.
