Fall 2019 Neighborhood Matching Grant Winner's - Burch Ave

The residents in Burch Avenue collaborated together to apply for the 2019 Neighborhood Matching Grant. After a competitive process, they were awarded one of many grants throughout the City of Durham. Over 40 community members gathered early Saturday morning to begin preparing this intersection for some afternoon painting. A pot luck celebration was thrown shortly after the last stroke of the paint brushes. What an awesome way to bring some color and personality into your very own neighborhood.
