Community Engagement is a division of the Neighborhood Improvement Services Department looking to improve the quality of life for people who live, work and play in Durham neighborhoods. See our programs for how we can partner with your neighborhood. 

The Community Engagement Division strives to: 

• Inform by providing residents and community organizations with information on programs and services. 
• Engage by providing the community with avenues that allow them to get involved in civic activities. 
• Partner with the community, by collaborating with residents, community organizations, and others to improve the quality of life for all residents.
