Our Community Stories: Harriet Tubman YWCA

Join us for our monthly history series, Our Community Stories. This series is dedicated to sharing histories from Durham’s underrepresented communities. 

This month's event will be spotlighting Harriet Tubman YWCA on March 25, 12pm-1pm. This community space was open 1953-1977 at 312 East Umstead St. Our speakers will include Ms. Virginia Williams, a former resident at the YWCA and member of the Royal Seven.
