Our Community Stories: Birchwood (featuring Ann Atwater)

Join us for our monthly history series, Our Community Stories. This series is dedicated to sharing histories from Durham’s underrepresented communities. 

This month's event will be spotlighting Birchwood on June 24, 12pm-1pm. This community is located off of Highway 98 and Lynn Rd. in eastern Durham. This event will also feature civil rights activist Ann Atwater, who lived in Birchwood in the later part of her life.
