Opportunity to Work with the Pauli Murray Project

Opportunity to Work with the Pauli Murray Project

Are you or do you know someone 21-28 who would like to spend the next year working with the Pauli Murray Project/Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice? Does the idea of a transformational program of service and social justice work, leadership training, vocational discernment, and intentional community living intrigue you? We have been funded to host a Johnson Service Corp Member for 2018-2019 – IF THAT IS YOU, PLEASE READ ON AND APPLY!

Applications are now being accepted to serve in Johnson Service Corps from August 2018 through July 2019. Johnson Service Corps places young people with Chapel Hill and Durham nonprofits. Participants live in intentional communities, receiving a monthly stipend and shared food budget, while working as emerging professionals with their nonprofit partner organization. Time is committed each week to faith formation around issues such as justice, equity, and call. Although it is an affiliate of the Episcopal Service Corps, young people of all faiths are welcome in JSC.
