Community partners are local groups who contract with the City to design and lead engagement in their communities. This work is a part of the Equitable Community Engagement Blueprint.

2022 Community Partners
This year’s community partners are under contract through late 2022. These partners were collectively awarded $236,000.

Bragtown Community Association, continues will lead engagement in the Bragtown neighborhood between North Roxboro Street and Old Oxford Highway. |

Be Connected Durham & Fayetteville Street Corridor Fellows continue to lead engagement along the Fayetteville Street Transit Emphasis Corridor between Lakewood Avenue and Riddle Road. |

|
Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People, Inc., continues to lead engagement along the Holloway Street Transit Emphasis Corridor (focused on the Holloway Street and Wellons Village communities). |

|
G.R.A.B. (Grinding, Reaching, Achieving, Balling) leads engagement with four Durham Housing Authority communities. |
|
|
Sembranda Racies (in partnership with the DPS Foundation) leads engagement with Latinx families in the Club Boulevard Elementary School area. |

|
West End - Lyon Park Legacy Project leads engagement in the West End and Lyon Park communities. |

These community partners were under contract through August 2021. These partners were collectively awarded $100,000.

AMIA, through Luma Consulting, LLC, who will lead engagement in Spanish-speaking/Latino/a/x communities throughout Durham.

Bragtown Community Association, who will lead engagement in the Bragtown neighborhood between North Roxboro Street and Old Oxford Highway.
